About the 2022 Series…
We are looking forward to welcoming you all back to Paxton’s beautiful park this spring for a short season of Tuesday-night races. We plan to run races on eight evenings starting with round two of the South East Region Youth Series on 26th April. The last evening of racing will be on 14th June. It’s a shorter series than in previous years owing to two music festivals being run back-to-back within the park: firstly the Wireless Festival and then the South Facing Festival.
Please note that on the first night, 26th April, it will be youth racing ONLY – no seniors or juniors. This is simply because there is not enough light to run the full programme. It does, however, mean that our local youth riders will get extended races, 18:30 – 18:55 for youth CDE and 19:00 – 19:45 for youth AB.
The CP Crits races take place within the grounds of the 2020 World Cup-winning champion of south-London parks. If you would like to express your views about how the park is run, the various festivals that take place there and how the income raised from these is spent, the Crystal Palace Park Trust invite you to take part in their feedback survey, available here.
Organised by Dulwich Paragon CC – unstintingly supported by associate clubs, sponsors and a small army of volunteers – this unique race series is one of London’s most anticipated and best supported amateur cycle racing events. All entry fees go towards providing exciting, efficient and safe racing for all competitors, from budding espoirs to Elite category riders – and any surplus is reinvested in racing activities within the South Eastern region.
