Weekly Rides Feb 16

Dulwich Paragon Pilgrims Way
Dulwich rider on Pilgrims Way
Like a Sky domestique angling for Grand Tour selection, this week’s Rides Roundup is a bit on the thin side, with the Wednesday road bike sessions at HHV coming to a close and no one-offs planned. Hopefully there will be more options next week, and even more as the racing season approaches.
This week’s rides…
Saturday Club Run: As usual, meet at HHV 0845 for a 0900 start. We split into groups riding at different paces on the day, up to Beddlestead and back.
Off-Road Club Run: There is no official ride, but there may be an ad hoc cake run to Downe from the velodrome (same time as the normal club run). Your best bet is to check the CX WhatsApp group. If you’re not on it go to the CX section of the forum and ask Charles Codrington.
Sunday Club Run:
There will be no slower “base” ride this week as a large contingent are off to the Hell Of The Ashdown instead.
Steve Sorba will lead a 25-26kph ride, route TBC (should be on the forum shortly). Meet at Cadence 0900 for a rollout as soon as possible after.
DPNC (various days): A casual, earlier alternative to the club runs. All  rides meet at Cafe St Germain in Crystal Palace 15 minutes before the start.
Fridays – departs 0900, 25kph, route usually through Knatts Valley. Saturdays – departs 0830, slightly faster pace, route decided on the day. Sundays – departs 0900, 25kph, route decided on the day.
Track Chat (Thursday): Not a ride, just a reminder that Jon Maher will be giving a talk at the Exodus Pavilion in Herne Hill Velodrome for any DP members interested in track racing. 7:30, entry free.
