Just like last year: To be held at Herne Hill Velodrome. A revenge match like no other. Pitting the mighty Dulwich against Brixton and London Phoenix. Last year we smashed them, can we do it again?
We will be running a whole series of races for men and women. Hopefully including team events alongside the usual individual events. There will be no BC points on offer but also no need for full ‘race accreditation’.Though of course riders need to have some experience of riding at the track.
The Senior B races will in fact be for ‘less experienced’ racers. So those of you who enjoyed racing last Sunday should consider coming along and having another go. Try to get to a couple of sessions at HHV over the next month to hone your skills. It would be good if you could at least get up to ‘training accreditation’.
We’re going to sort out the programme shortly and I’ll post it up as soon as we have worked it out. As mentioned above though there is obviously a serious element to the racing we also want to have a bit of fun. So don’t be put off if you’re new to racing as it will be more relaxed than a normal open meeting. Come along and give it a go.
And here’s the programme. Come on, how often do you get to do a points race with points for the first four every lap……!
