If you’re in South London, join our club and we guarantee you’ll get more out of your bike! Whether it’s getting fitter, going further, getting confident riding in a group, pinning a race number on, discovering new routes, trying new disciplines, or simply meeting new people, our organised rides and thriving community will help you achieve your two-wheeled goals. Convinced already?! Click here to join us. Or read on…
Though we definitely have a competitive element, and many of our members race, our ethos is friendly, inclusive, and co-operative. We have group rides at a range of paces with experienced ride leaders, and we have an active women’s group with women-only rides and training sessions.
Plus you’ll get all the following great benefits:
Club Kit: Ride and race in our famous blue-and-yellow colours, with top-quality custom kit produced by Giordana and NoPinz available to purchase from our club shop.
Training and skills: We put on a variety of sessions to improve your cycling, from puncture repair classes, to off-road skills, to our winter weeknight road bike sessions at Herne Hill Velodrome – with coaching and support from qualified and experienced club members.
Access to racing: Represent the club in road racing, cyclocross, time trials, track, and more. Note that British Cycling membership is required for most of these.
Club trips: Visit some incredible places (from Spain to Sri Lanka to the Lake District) at some incredible prices on our supported cycling holidays and training camps.
Community: Join a group of local, like-minded folk who can lend you a spare whatsit or thingumajig for your bike, keep you company on a random ride, or tell you what tyres are best. No-one knows the roads of Surrey and Kent better than us!
Discounts: Get money off at some of South London’s best bike shops and workshops.
Equipment hire: Rent bike bags for travel at excellent rates, or use the club’s track bikes.
Forum and WhatsApp Groups: Access our members-only forum to get the latest discussion, trade gear and kit, sign up for rides, and discuss anything else that takes your fancy! Meanwhile, there are many (semi) official WhatsApp groups, for example the women’s group, audaxers, and ones for each racing discipline.
